Router FAQs
Router related Frequently Asked Questions.
Router is a payments orchestration platform which allows you to handle multiple payment gateways on a single platform without any manual integration effort. Router allows you to choose PGs to process payments automatically with ease.
Router currently supports the following payment gateways:
- Cashfree
- Razorpay
- Paytm
- PayU
- Cards
- Netbanking
- UPI
- Wallets
Router monitors success rates across payment gateways for all payment modes. Whenever a dip in success rate is seen on one payment gateway, Router automatically routes the transaction through the next preferred payment gateway.
Router manages back end orchestration effortlessly. You can initiate refunds from Cashfree Payments dashboard without having to integrate with other aggregators.
When you are creating a configuration, you can configure the gateway distribution (percentage). Lets say for example, you are live on two payment gateways such as Paytm and Razorpay. You are allocating the percentage of transactions that go to each payment gateway. The gateway with the highest percentage will be considered the priority gateway, and if there is any downtime in this gateway, the payments are routed via the gateway with second highest percentage.
No, you cannot delete a rule. You can only enable/disable a rule.
You can create rules based on:
- Order currency
- Amount
- Payment mode
- Card scheme
- Card country
- Card bin
- Issuing bank
There is no limit on the number of rules you can create in Router.
To use Router the Payment Gateway account you are choosing should have seamless option enabled. To enable seamless option write to your corresponding payment gateway relationship manager asking to enabled seamless mode for your account. Mention that you are using Cashfree Payments as the technology company to handle sensitive card data.
