When you are creating a configuration, you can configure the gateway distribution (percentage). Lets say for example, you are live on two payment gateways such as Paytm and Razorpay. You are allocating the percentage of transactions that go to each payment gateway.
The gateway with the highest percentage will be considered the priority gateway, and if there is any downtime in this gateway, the payments are routed via the gateway with second highest percentage.
