    The Geolocation API works by using various data sources, including GPS, Wi-Fi, and cell tower information, to determine the device's location based on its coordinates.
    Translating a given pair of latitude and longitude coordinates into a readable address location is known as Reverse Geocoding. With Cashfree Payments’ Reverse Geocoding feature, you can verify if the location shared by your customer matches the provided physical address.
    In the case of Reverse GeoCode, the map coordinates are the Input and the output retrieved is a readable address location. For example, if you input the latitude 12.9274915 and longitude 77.6326806, the output would be the details of the building situated at that intersection. For the given pair of coordinates, the output would be Vaishnavi Summit, No. 6/B, Summit, 80 Feet Rd, Koramangala 1A Block, Koramangala 3 Block, Koramangala, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560034.
    One can get details such as the name of the building, street name, landmark, district, city, state, pin code and country via Geolocation API.

    RBI defines Digital KYC as ‘capturing a live photo of the customer and an officially valid document or proof of possession of Aadhaar, where offline verification cannot be carried out, along with the latitude and longitude of the location where an authorised officer of the RE is taking such live photo..’. Hence, address verification becomes mandatory which can be easily done via reverse geocoding.
