Activation 


1. How long does it take to get approval for activation? 

Our Onboarding team requires 2-3 business days to verify all documentation and provide an approval for activation. In case you have been waiting longer, please drop a mail to care@cashfree.com.

Settlement 

 

1. When will my customers’ payments be reflected in my bank account?

Your customer payments will be settled to your account in a T+2 cycle, i.e. if your customer payment happens on a Monday, the money gets settled to you on Wednesday. Settlement days do not include weekends and bank holidays.

 

2. How and where will the settlement happen?

Settlements will be reflected in the bank account provided during the onboarding which has been verified.


 

Free Credits 

 

1. What are free credits?

Free Credits are the equivalent of the sum of payments you can accept without paying any charges (TDR or flat) to Cashfree Payments. For example, when we say Rs.2,00,000 worth free credits, it means that you can collect payments to a sum of Rs.2,00,000 without having to pay Cashfree Payments any charges. Transactions beyond this sum will be chargeable.

 

2. Where can I see my free credits?

You can see the free credits available to you on the merchant dashboard in the payment gateway → Summary section.

KYC
 

1. I see the banner indicating that my KYC is rejected, what to do next?

This means we reviewed your KYC and found some information missing in the documents. Click on the 'Fix KYC details' button on the dashboard banner or go to this link to resubmit the required documents.

 

2. The banner says your KYC review is in progress, and payments are on hold, what can I do?

This means that you've exceeded your monthly transaction limit, and your documents are still under review. Document review takes 2-3 days and once reviewed, you will receive an email/notification from us. If there are discrepancies, you can resubmit the documents. Once KYC is approved,  you can continue transacting without limits

 

3. How can I get my domain whitelisted? 

Navigate to this section on the dashboard. You can click on “New Request” to raise the request for whitelisting a new domain.

 

4. I see a banner on my dashboard stating that my payment gateway account is disabled. What is the reason?

This banner is because our Onboarding team has found that your business falls under one of our restricted categories. Check out the list of restricted categories here. In case your business does not fall under any of these categories, please drop a mail at care@cashfree.com
